Backflow Testing for over 20 years...
Certified Backflow Testing has been testing irrigation and fire control backflow assemblies for more than 2 decades. Started in 2003 by Loren Hanson, Certified Backflow Testing has deep experience in backflow testing for residential and commercial applications. Exactly 20 years later, in 2023, CBT was acquired by STOP Inc, expanding our service area, capabilities and customer base. In addition to King County, we also offer backflow testing in Snohomish County and Pierce County.

Meet The Team
Mark has been with CBT since 2011. When not doing backflow testing in Sammamish and the surrounding areas, he spends time trail running, marathon running and dirt bike riding. He resides in the Sammamish area with his family.
Clifton is the manager of the backflow team and a journeyman plumber. He has 18 years of commercial and residential plumbing experience, with 11 of those years with STOP Inc. Clifton resides in Marysville with his new wife, 3 kids and their toy poodle.
Loren is the original owner of CBT, starting it in 2003. After selling CBT to STOP Inc in 2023 he continues to perform backflow tests. Loren is an avid competitive bicyclist, and resides in the Sammamish area with his family.
Emilie has been with CBT since 2023. When she's not backflow testing across beautiful Western Washington, she enjoys exploring, mushroom foraging, and fishing.
Sean has been backflow testing since 2023. He enjoys hiking, listening to music and exploring this wonderful state!
Ali was previously with our parent company, STOP Inc, and has been lead dispatch/admin for CBT since 2023.
